Whilst we at HangGalloway.co.uk support the "get him back to work" campaign, that has a groovy javascript that counts how long Galloway has been in the house, and how much that has cost the taxpayer, I would disagree with their figures.
Their figure only relates to Galloways wages. This is a common mistake. When someone is off work the cost to their employer (us in this case) is their wages PLUS the value of the work they would have done had they not been absent. The "get him back to work" campaign assumes that George Galloway has no value whenever he is (rarely it seems) present in the house.
On second thoughts I might have to agree with that...
