The 'New Politics Network', a think-tank set up to investigate donations made to political parties, has today called into question the legality of donations made to the Islamofacist backed Respect Party. British political rules allow campaign contributors who donate less than £5,000 to remain anonymous.
Between the European elections and the by elections Galloway has been quoted as having spent £560,000 (presumably on cigars and prostitutes), so according to Respects accounts they have over 100 benefactors donating £5,000 each. Such large numbers of individual contributions are highly suspicious.
The think-tank found that: "No other political party in the UK simultaniously spends so much whilst raising so little from large donors."
The implication is that the Respect Party are taking larger donations, but fudging their books to avoid declaring which facist dictators provide them funds and which charities the money has been stolen from.
