George Galloway - ever willing to provide global media access (for a price) to isolated facist governments - today shared a platfrom with genocidal nut case Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe at the "Perdana Global Peace Forum" in Kuala Lumpor.
The appaling civil liberties record of Zimbabwe under Mugabe, including the destruction of over a million homes of poor inhabitants in Harare, won't put George off the champagne and caviar however - he has (for a price) shared a platfrom with far worse, including the Butcher of Baghdad.
The topics of the forum are to include: "condemn[ation of] wars of aggression, in particular the illegal invasion of Iraq by the US and it's allies." It doesn't really sound like they need a forum - with an item like that on the adgenda it sounds like they already have their opinions all worked out.
The forum was sponsored by the Malaysian Prime Minister, Mr Abdullah Badawi, and was also attended by former MP Claire Short (who also obviously sees nothing wrong with sharing a platform with Mugabe).
